While the sauna is heating, the participants go on a hike through the forest, try their hand at woodwork and undertake other activities indoors, including making lunch together. The programme ends with a visit to the hot sauna, followed by a dip in the pond to cool off.<\/p>\n<p>Everyone taking part is given a birch whisk to use in the sauna.<\/p>\n<p>The aim of the programme is to invigorate mind and body alike in an authentic heritage culture setting.
